MetPump® is a castable, monolithic refractory that allows us to convert multiple blocks into single castings that install faster and more safely. Metpump® conforms to any shape or complex geometry, simplifying install.

Lead times for MetPump® are significantly shorter than other products--weeks not months. Manufacturing is primarily a blending and bagging process of raw materials generally stored on-site.

MetPump® can be pumped, cast or shot is available in precast, prefired, ready to use shapes. We can also custom engineer shapes for your glass furnace in any geometry. Pick your application: peepholes, burner blocks, doghouse arches, port sills, etc. From single or multiple blocks to complete precast blocks, to configuration of melter upperstructures, endwalls, crowns, refiner/alcoves/forehearths, etc.
