Daniel Hilfiker represents the third generation of Swiss engineers managing Pneumofore, the world’s oldest rotary pumps and compressor factory founded in 1923. He graduated as Mechanical Engineer at the Federal Technical Institute of Zürich, Switzerland in 1993. As former council member of Pneurop, he has been strongly involved in norms for compressors and vacuum pumps, also for the International Standard Organization ISO. Daniel is personally engaged in R&D due to his commitment to lowest environmental impact which corresponds to minimal operational costs.
He participates to worldwide technical conferences on regular basis, as his vacuum and compressed air theory and products are applied in glass manufacturing, as well as aerospace, medicine, food, petrochemical, cans and more.
